It all started with one little dog... Alex my first rescue dog and best friend.  He taught me all there was to learn about loyalty, bravery, and patience. 

 

He didn't know how small he was and he was as stubborn as they came.

We hiked thousands of miles alongside each other, we rescued tons of animals, and we lived around the world together.  

Caring for Alex during his senior years sparked my love for aging dogs and changed the trajectory of my career.  As he aged, I became more curious about holistic alternatives and this led me to pursue training in acupuncture, herbal therapies, massage, and food therapy.  These therapies help me better connect with my patients and provide alternative treatment options for their caregivers.  I founded my holistic veterinary practice, Wholistic Housecalls in 2024. wholistichousecalls.com

 

Losing Alex taught me to focus on what matters and inspired me to share the gifts he gave me. This sanctuary is in his honor.
