Gray Muzzle volunteer opportunities come in all shapes and sizes as the Forever Home Program evolves and Residents are admitted. Maintenance, marketing, administrative assistance, help with events, the list of needs is extensive and on-going. See what's currently available and how you can help the program thrive.
Volunteers & Bakers Needed!
The second annual Old Dogs, New Treats bake sale is happening on March 21st and we are looking for folks to help make people goodies and doggie treats. Any quantity, flavor and style are welcome - the more the merrier. We are also looking for some helpers that day who can jump in for a couple of hours. And of course, you are welcome to do both!

Gray Muzzle Caretaker Program
The Gray Muzzle Project offers a Caretaker volunteer program for volunteers able to commit a few hours per week to care of our sanctuary dogs. Applications are reviewed frequently and new volunteers are added periodically based on current need. If interested please fill out an application and a team member will respond to you soon
Do you have a passion for animals and a heart for helping? We’re excited to announce the launch of our Animal Caretaker Volunteer Position at the sanctuary!
We’re building a team of dedicated and passionate volunteers to assist with the day-to-day care of our beloved animals. From feeding and grooming to cleaning and enrichment, your support will make a real difference in their lives.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience working or volunteering with animals, but we welcome all enthusiastic and caring individuals to apply!
Note: All approved volunteers require a signed waiver prior to volunteering with The Gray Muzzle Project. After scheduling, please complete this waiver.

Join the Gray Muzzle Project Board and help guide the organization as we move forward.
Seeking a Board Member for GMP specializing in a variety of skill sets including, but not limited to: fundraising (donor relations + sponsorship programming), community outreach, and logistics. More details may be found here.

New - Gray Muzzle Dog Walkers
Dog walkers will assist with exercise, enrichment, and socialization of sanctuary residents in the afternoons a minimum of 1 time per week ~2 hour shift. Walks are done off-site at a nearby park. If you are interested in becoming a Gray Muzzle Dog Walker, please fill out the Dog Walker Application form.
