Our programs

The Gray Muzzle Project offers a comprehensive range of programs to support senior dogs in need, join us in making a difference for senior dogs by getting involved in our impactful programs today.

Forever Home Program

We collaborate with local rescue organizations for the transfer of difficult to adopt or special needs senior pups from a shelter environment and into our long-term care facility.  Our resident dogs are provided with comfortable communal housing, enrichment, and integrative medical hospice care by our staff veterinarian, Dr. Jamie Walkush.  This care is focused on pain management and supportive treatments while carefully considering the quality of life of each patient and may include acupuncture, physical therapy/rehabilitation, massage, herbal and/or pharmaceutical medications, and nutritional support.  We aim to provide a calm atmosphere where animals feel safe.

Happy Dog
Volunteer Program

Our helpful volunteers provide daily care, socialization, and both careful observation and close interaction with our animals to ensure they are receiving the individual care they need- and plenty of love!

Pet Treats
No Waste Food Program

We feed our dogs as many local, fresh foods as possible by collaborating with local farms resulting in prevention of food waste.
